He posts montage-style videos on YouTube in which he and other developers play various video games such as Grand Theft Auto V and Garry’s Mod. Apart from that, he produces music and DJs under the name Rynx and served as creative director for the video game Dead Realm as well as voice actor for the YouTube premium series Paranormal Action Squad and the animated series Alpha Betas.

Fong was born on May 31, 1992 and grew up in Toronto, Ontario. Fong is of Asian descent, his mother is Korean and his father is Chinese. Fong graduated from Richmond Hill High School and majored in economics in college, but later dropped out in his sophomore year to focus fully on his YouTube channel.[3] Fong claimed that his parents were initially concerned that he was neglecting his studies in favor of producing content for his YouTube channel, admitting that “while there’s a lot of potential for someone to start a YouTube channel, it’s obvious no guaranteed path.” 3]

Despite receiving offers from many networks, none of them were willing to give the showrunners creative freedom, prompting them to launch a Kickstarter on July 20, 2021.[13]
