Russell Hill’s wow feels she will never see her husband alive again after he disappeared with Carol Clay in the Victorian bush around 15 months ago.
Mr Hill, 74, and Ms Clay, 73, disappeared on March 20 last year while on a camping trip in East Gippsland, 350 kilometers east of Melbourne.

In an unexpected turn of events, authorities two weeks ago extended the search 80 kilometers northwest to the Mount Hotham area – the first time the hunt had left Wonnagatta.
On April 14, detectives discovered two shovels in the dense bushes of the Great Alpine Road and the search ended.
The shovels are still under forensic examination and the search has been pushed back to the Wonnangatta campgrounds, where the pair originally went missing.

Details on Carol Clay Update 2021 Explained
Hill reportedly left his home in Drouin on March 19 before picking up Ms Clay from her home in Pakenham in his white Toyota LandCruiser.
The friends then traveled via Licola, spending a night in Howitt High Plains before heading to the Wonnangatta Valley on March 20th.
The next day Mr Hill was last heard over HF radio that he was in the Wonnangatta Valley in the Victorian Alps and Clay informed her friends that she was leaving and would be returning on March 28th or 29th.
In addition, investigators were told that the couple were camping together on the Wonnangatta River near the Wonnangatta campground.
