Conrad “Connie” Kalitta (born February 24, 1938) is an American businessman and former drag racer, nicknamed “The Bounty Hunter”. Kalitta is CEO of Kalitta Air and owner of Kalitta Motorsports.[1]
Kalitta was born in Michigan, grew up in Mount Clemens and graduated from Mount Clemens High School in 1957.
He raced from the 1950s through the 1990s. He was the first driver to reach 200 mph in an NHRA sanctioned event.[2]

Kalitta Air operates more than 35 aircraft, including a fleet of around 30 giant Boeing 747s and a few smaller 767s and 777s. Doug Kalitta (born August 20, 1964) is an American racing driver from Ypsilanti, Michigan and owner of Kalitta Charters airline. He began racing in open-wheel cars on an oval. Kalitta won the 1994 USAC Midget Rookie of the Year title and the 1994 USAC Sprint Car Championship. He switched to drag racing in 1998 and through 2020 was a total of six runners-up in the NHRA Top Fuel Championship.
