Cris Abrego is an American television producer and writer. He is also Co-CEO of Endemol USA. Cris is famous for Rock of Love with Bret Michaels (2007), Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair (2010) and For the Love of Ray J (2009).

Cris grew up in El Monte, California. Not much is known about his parents and family, but it is known that he was a wrestler at California State University, Fullerton before graduating and later moving to Los Angeles to work on reality TV shows.

After graduating from college, Cris joined Bunim-Murray and worked on the TV shows The Real World and Road Rules. There he worked as a freelance coordinating producer on Fear and Making the Band. He also co-created and executive produced a reality version of the film The Cannonball Run. Abrego created brass ring; a production company responsible for Next Action Star, Surf Girls and The Hitchhiker Chronicles in 2002. Later he created 51 paintings

In 2013, Abrego established a scholarship fund at his alma mater, Mountain View High School in El Monte, California, which provides college tuition and additional resources for student athletes. The program, run by Abrego’s mother Tina, has helped more than 25 student athletes enter four-year universities across the country.

Abrego published his first book, Make It Reality: Create Your Opportunity, Own Your Success, in 2016. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife and three children.
