On February 26, 2021, Choo was named in a lawsuit against OHSU alleging that Choo did nothing when she was alerted to an alleged sexual assault.[18][19] Two months after Choo was informed of the sexual assault, she encouraged Dr. Campbell on social media. When the woman who had been assaulted asked Choo about her open support of Dr. Confronting Campbell, Choo replied, “I don’t need white women policing,” which is shown on a screenshot in the lawsuit filed [20]. On March 4, Times Up published a statement in support of Choo.[21] Following this statement, at least 4 founding members of Times Up Healthcare resigned in protest[22] and 10 founders were removed from Times Up Healthcare’s website.[23]
