In this article I am going to talk about Harry Morton Kingsman. I just saw the movie The King’s Man. It is a spy action film that was released on December 22, 2021 in the United States and just four days later in the UK. The film was released in cinemas at the time and received various reviews.

It’s really a good film and I really enjoyed it. However, the post-credits scene left viewers stunned.

They were a little confused by the post-credits scene. Harry Morton was honored.

It says-

In memory of

Harry Morton

A true gentleman who leads by example,

helped others and knew his duty

Post-credit scene from the movie The King’s Man

The villain in the film is called Morton. That is confusing. Some may think that the villain is sarcastically referred to as a true gentleman.

Harry Morton Kingsman

Death of Harry Morton in Kingsman – what happened to him?

Harry was honored in the Kingsman film after he died on November 23, 2019. His sudden death shook his loved ones and left them perplexed.

On November 23, 2019, Morton was found dead at his home in Beverly Hills, California. The cause of death was sudden cardiac arrest due to undiagnosed coronary artery disease. According to People, he had a condition of “probable cardiac arrhythmia” and “myocardial bridging with atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries.” He also had a slightly enlarged heart.

His death was reported after an autopsy as of natural causes with coronary artery disease. Morton’s brother found his deceased body in the bathroom.

After his death, the company (Pink Taco) released a statement calling Morton “a visionary and restaurateur who was ahead of his time,” adding that “his contributions to our brand were both professional and personal to those with with whom he worked were numerous”.

What did Harry Morton do in the movies?

Morton was honored in the film as he was like a brother to the film’s producer. Other than that, Harry wasn’t directly involved in the Kingsman films.

Producer is Harry Morton’s father’s godchild.

When Harry Morton died, the producer honors his memory. It’s that simple. When a writer writes a book, he/she often dedicates that book to someone. This does not mean that the person has anything to do with this book.

Mật Vụ Kingsman (2014)

According to “The Gentleman’s Guide” on the official website of this film, “The Rules” of a Kingsman Gentleman are as follows: (1) A gentleman never talks about conquest, private affairs or business. His business is nobody else’s. (2) A gentleman doesn’t clash in public with enemies or ex-boyfriends, or worse, with outdated contrasts, colors, or styles. (3) A gentleman is always happy to serve, whether it’s opening the door, picking up the bill, or just calling a cab the next morning. Ask him for help and he cannot refuse. (4) A gentleman never responds to rudeness. He pretends he doesn’t realize it and carries on like it never happened because it never should have happened. (5) A gentleman always hits with witty remarks, interesting facts, and conversation starters that bring out the best in everyone. And (6) A gentleman asks noninvasive questions to keep a conversation going and draw attention to others. He makes them feel like the most interesting person he’s ever met, whether that’s true or not. Interestingly, new Kingsman agent Eggsy (Taron Egerton) doesn’t follow any of them.

Kingsman (franchise)

British media franchise based on the adventures of Kingsman’s agents

Kingsman is a British film franchise consisting of action comedy films that follow the missions of the Kingsman, a fictional intelligence organization. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, a 2012 publication by Marvel Comics, the film franchise debut has met with both financial and critical success.

Kingsman: The Secret Service, directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jane Goldman, was released in February 2015. The film starred Colin Firth and Taron Egerton. A sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, was released in September 2017. A prequel, The King’s Man, was released theatrically in the US in December 2021.[1] The films were released by 20th Century Studios.

The film franchise is slated to continue with a fourth Kingsman film, titled Kingsman: The Blue Blood, and an eight-hour limited television series in development centered around the franchise’s American spy agency, Statesman. Adaptations of the films have been released, and a handful of Kingsman video games have been released since 2012.

origin [edit]

The Kingsman film franchise is based on the comic book series of the same name that began with the 2012 comic The Secret Service. Two sequels, The Big Exit and The Red Diamond, followed in 2017 and 2018 respectively. The series was originally known as The Secret Service before being renamed after the release of the first Kingsman film. [NB 1] The series was created by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. It is set in Millar’s shared universe, the “Millarverse”. An example of this is when the celebrity kidnappings discussed in Kingsman Vol. 1 are mentioned in Kick Ass: The Dave Lizewski Years Book Four.[2]

Kingsman movies[edit]

Kingsman: Secret Service (2014)[edit]

The first film, Kingsman: The Secret Service, is set over a two-year period, from 2014 to 2015. After Gary “Eggsy” dropped out of training for the Royal Marines, became a stereotypical chav and was arrested for stealing a car, Unwin was released arranged by Harry Hart, a Kingsman and colleague of his late father. Hart, a seasoned Kingsman spy, recruits Eggsy into the agency’s competitive training program when billionaire Richmond Valentine poses a global threat.[3]

The concept of a Secret Service adaptation arose when Millar and Vaughn were discussing spy movies at a bar, lamented that the genre had become too serious, and decided to make “a funny one.”[4] In order to have the time to make the film, Vaughn had to turn down directing X-Men: Days of Future Past, which he described as “a really difficult decision.”[4] He argued that if he didn’t, “someone else…would wake up and make a funny spy movie. Then I would have written a damn script that nobody wanted to do.”[4] Colin Firth joined the cast, to direct the film on April 29, 2013. It was originally reported in 2013 that Leonardo DiCaprio was in talks to play a villain,[6] but Vaughn denied he was ever considered.[7] Instead, the role went to Samuel L. Jackson. Jackson took on the role in part because of a career dream of starring in a James Bond film. He felt this was unlikely, saying “I felt like this was an opportunity to play a really great Bond villain.” [8] Jackson’s character has a notable lisp, a choice he made in part because of the stutter he had as a child.[8] In September 2013, Vaughn cast Sophie Cookson as the female lead, choosing a newcomer over more obvious candidates like Emma Watson and Bella Heathcote.[9] Mark Hamill was cast as Professor James Arnold, a reference to his character in the source comic being himself.

Filming began on October 6, 2013 in Deepcut, Surrey,[11][12] with a budget reportedly a third of Skyfall’s $200 million budget.[13] The Alexandra Road Estate in Camden[14] was used as Eggsy’s residential area and some scenes were filmed at Imperial College London. The Black Prince Pub in Kennington, South London was used for various fight scenes and the chase. Savile Row in Mayfair was also used as the location and outer skin of tailors Huntsman who supplied the clothes and James Lock & Co. of St James’s who supplied the hats.[15] Elton John was rumored to have a role in the film.[16][17] Although this would prove untrue, John would appear in the sequel to the film. Kingsman: The Secret Service was released in the UK on January 29, 2015.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) [ edit ]

The second film, Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), is set over the course of a week. When Kingsman’s headquarters are destroyed, her agents discover an allied spy organization in the United States, the Statesman. The two join forces to defeat a common enemy and save the world.[18]

Shortly before the release of Kingsman: The Secret Service, Millar and Vaughn said that if the first film did well at the box office, a sequel was possible, and Vaughn expressed interest in directing the sequel. Vaughn also noted that he had hoped to have Firth in the sequel, but it was later reported that Firth would not be returning.

On April 29, 2015, Fox announced that a sequel was in production, however it was unclear if Vaughn would direct due to his interest in directing a Flash Gordon film. On June 11, 2015, Vaughn told Yahoo that he had begun writing the sequel’s screenplay and could direct it.[23] In September 2015, Millar reiterated that the sequel was in development and that Vaughn was looking at ways to bring Firth back without sacrificing the integrity of the story. Later that month, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Egerton had also signed on for the Robin Hood: Origins franchise, which would begin filming in February 2016; Egerton’s schedule accordingly conflicted with the Kingsman sequel. However, in mid-October it was confirmed that the scheduling issues between both studios had been settled. Lionsgate planned to begin production on Robin Hood immediately after Egerton wrapped filming on Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which is expected to begin production in April 2016.[24]

On February 17, 2016, it was announced that Julianne Moore was in negotiations to play the film’s villain. On March 10, 2016, Halle Berry was cast as head of the CIA.[26] Her role later emerged as Statesman technical support. In late March, Vaughn confirmed the casting of Berry and Moore and the title of Kingsman: The Golden Circle. On April 8, 2016, Pedro Pascal was cast as Jack Daniels.[27] A promotional poster featuring Firth’s character’s glasses was released the same day, confirming his return; [28] Firth’s return was officially confirmed on July 11, 2016. [29] Channing Tatum confirmed his casting on his Twitter account, while Variety confirmed that Elton John was in talks for a role.[30] In late April, Vaughn said of the sequel, “Writing that was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” Jeff Bridges joined the cast on May 28, 2016. Vinnie Jones announced on Twitter that he had been cast in a role.[33]

Filming began on May 15, 2016 in Birmingham.[34][35][36] Filming also took place at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden. On September 13, 2016, Kingsman: The Golden Circle wrapped initial filming.[37] Additional footage was filmed in London in December 2016.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle was originally scheduled to be released by 20th Century Fox on June 16, 2017, but was pushed back to October 6. Then it was moved from October 6th to September 22nd. The film received an IMAX release. 39] It finally opened in the UK on September 20.

The King’s Man (2021) [ edit ]

In June 2018, Vaughn announced that a prequel film was in active development, stating that the storyline would be the third regular Kingsman film in the early 20’s”.[40][41] In September 2018, it was announced that Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson will star in the prequel.[42] In October 2018, it was rumored that Rachel Weisz and Brad Pitt were being considered for roles in the film.[43] In November 2018, it was announced that Daniel Brühl, Charles Dance, Rhys Ifans and Matthew Goode would star in the film The film is intended to be a historical drama style and explore the founding of the Kingsman tailors and agency, with the log-line for the film being “The man who would be Kingsman”. On June 2019, the film’s official title was announced as The King’s Man.[45]

The King’s Man was released by 20th Century Studios on December 22, 2021. The film was originally scheduled for a November 2019 release, but was delayed eight times due to production issues and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kingsman: The Blue Blood (2023) [ edit ]

In May 2017, Vaughn stated that a sequel to The Golden Circle was currently in development, adding that he and co-writer Goldman fleshed out the storyline during production of the second film.[48] Vaughn later stated that his personal choice to play the villain was Dwayne Johnson. By June 2018, the filmmaker announced that the third film in a row would be made with a prequel that would serve as “the conclusion of Harry Hart and Eggsy’s relationship.” Colin Firth and Taron Egerton will both reprise their roles from previous films.[50] Vaughn stated that production is scheduled to begin sometime between late 2019 and early 2020.[40][41][51][52] In September 2020, the film was given the working title Kingsman: The Blue Blood.[53][54] In December 2021, Vaughn announced filming on the sequel would begin in September 2022, for a projected release date of 2023, but Egerton believes the third film will begin in 2023.

Short film[edit]

Archer (2017)[edit]

On July 20, 2017, Fox released an animated crossover short between Kingsman and Archer titled #TBT on That Time Archer Met Kingsman starring Eggsy and Sterling Archer. The short film was unveiled at Comic-Con’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle Panel 2017 in Hall H, where it follows Eggsy as he discovers that Archer has stumbled into the Kingsman’s secret arsenal hidden in the custom suit shop and himself served on guns and alcohol. Struggling to reclaim the goods, Eggsy challenges Archer to “the grandest of contests”: a drinking contest while plotting to drug him with a glass; Archer drinks the bottle instead and passes out. Eggsy, offended by Archer’s behavior, vows to go to America and “teach them a lesson”. Taron Egerton and H. Jon Benjamin reprise their roles as Eggsy Unwin and Sterling Archer, respectively.[58]

In June 2018, when announcing his new film studio, Vaughn announced that an eight-episode Kingsman television series was in early development.[40]

Originally announced as a spin-off film in September 2017,[59] a television series centered around the franchise’s American secret agent organization called The Statesman is in development.[60] In June 2018, Vaughn announced his new film studio along with several projects currently in development including Statesman; confirmation that Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry would reprise their respective roles.[40] In December 2021, Vaughn announced that the project would be officially redeveloped as a television series. Development [edit]

The first film – Kingsman: The Secret Service – came about when Mark Millar and Matthew Vaughn were discussing spy movies at a bar, lamented that the genre had become too serious over the years and decided to make “a fun one”.[ 4] In order to have the time to make the film, Vaughn had to turn down directing X-Men: Days of Future Past, which he described as “a really difficult decision”. He argued that if he didn’t, “somebody else…would wake up and make a funny spy movie. Then I’d have written a damn script that nobody wanted to do.” [4] Colin Firth joined the cast to direct the film on April 29, 2013. It was originally reported in 2013 that Leonardo DiCaprio was in talks to play a villain, though Vaughn himself later denied he was ever considered, stating that he came as close to the role “as I am.” to become Pope”. .[7] Instead, the role of the villain went to Samuel L. Jackson. Jackson took on the role in part because of a career dream of starring in a James Bond film. Feeling this was unlikely to come true, he took on the role, saying “I felt like this was an opportunity to play a really great Bond villain.” Jackson’s character has a notable lisp that was partly inspired by the stutter he had during childhood. In September 2013, Vaughn cast Sophie Cookson for the female lead, choosing a newcomer over more obvious candidates like Emma Watson and Bella Heathcote.[9] Mark Hamill was cast as Professor James Arnold, a reference to his character in the source comic named “Mark Hamill”.

Millar and Vaughn stated that if the first film did well at the box office, a sequel was possible, and Vaughn expressed interest in directing the sequel. Vaughn also noted that he hoped to have Firth back in the sequel and that Strong was interested in returning as well. Taron Egerton has been confirmed to be signed to the sequel.[62] When asked how they would integrate Firth’s character into the sequel, Millar explained that various ideas were discussed, including giving Harry Hart an evil brother or maybe turning the character into a ghost. Fox later announced that a sequel was in the works, but it was unclear if Vaughn would direct again. On June 11, 2015, it was confirmed that Vaughn had started writing the sequel and that he could potentially return to direct. Principal filming was scheduled to begin in April 2016 with a release date of October 6, 2017. It was reported that Julianne Moore was in talks to star as the new villain and Halle Berry could sign on as head of the CIA.[68][69] On March 18, 2016, Edward Holcroft was also confirmed to reprise his role as Charles “Charlie” Hesketh. Vaughn later revealed the sequel’s title as Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The plot follows Eggsy and Merlin as they team up with “Statesman”, their American counterpart, after Kingsman is destroyed by the film’s villain, Poppy, played by Moore. On April 7, 2016, Egerton unveiled the first poster for the film, which heavily indicated that Firth would be returning for the film. The poster features Harry Hart’s trademarks, with one of the lenses missing beneath the slogan (a borrowed quote from Mark Twain), which reads “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated”. Sophie Cookson will also reprise her role as Roxy Morton in the sequel.[74] The next day, Deadline reported that Pedro Pascal was in talks for the role of Jack Daniels.[75] On April 12, 2016, Elton John was in talks to join the cast of the upcoming sequel.[76] The next day, Channing Tatum announced on his Twitter account that he would be joining the cast as Agent Tequila.

A prequel to the franchise, titled The King’s Man, was released on December 22, 2021. In June 2018, Vaughn announced that the prequel film would be titled Kingsman: The Great Game, stating that the storyline would take place in the early 20th century and would represent the formation of the spy agency and would back-to-back with “the third regular Kingsman -Movie” to be shot. On November 9, 2018, Egerton confirmed that he would not be returning for the prequel, however he would continue to portray the character in future episodes. It was originally scheduled for release on November 8, 2019, but was delayed eight times to 2020 and 2021 due to production issues and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Matthew Vaughn stated that if a sequel were to be developed, he would love to see the story about the Kingsman agency’s first decade with all of the characters that the audience sees at the end. According to the Hollywood Reporter[84] he said:

It’s more when the public demands it. So the second The King’s Man is almost done. Do you see Ralph [Fiennes] and Aaron [Taylor-Johnson] along with Polly (Gemma Arterton) and Shola (Djimon Hounsou) on a mission? Count me in! The four together? Let’s go! I think it would be great.

Kingsman: The Blue Blood is the planned sequel to The Golden Circle and the fourth film in the franchise. In December 2017, Vaughn revealed his plans for the untitled film and confirmed there would be a massive addition to the cast, although he hasn’t decided who would play the role yet.[85] In March 2018, Vaughn confirmed that he was still working on the script for the film.[86] In another interview, he teased the possible return of Mark Strong’s Merlin, but didn’t confirm or deny the rumours. Vaughn revealed to Empire that he was planning a Kingsman film that would complete the Harry Hart-Eggsy Relationship trilogy.[88] In December 2021, Vaughn announced that filming on the sequel would begin in September 2022.[55]

Vaughn revealed that a Kingsman: The Golden Circle spin-off film centered on American secret agent Statesman is in early development. Statesman was announced as the working title of the film.[59] In June 2018, Vaughn announced his new film studio along with several projects in development, including Statesman, and confirmed that Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry would reprise their roles in the film.[40]

In August 2017, it was confirmed that Kingsman: The Golden Circle will have a connection game upon release and that it will be a turn-based match-3 RPG that will be released on iOS and Android by the Korean mobile game company NHN PixelCube.[105] The game also features characters from Kingsman: The Secret Service and was released worldwide on September 14, 2017, about a week before the film’s release. Unlike the films, the game has no graphic violence or explicit language, but is rated a “12+” for “mildly realistic violence”. In the days leading up to the film’s release, it was announced by American mobile game developer YesGnome that another mobile game based on the Kingsman franchise, simply called Kingsman: The Secret Service, would also be developed for iOS and Android. The game is a hybrid action-adventure construction simulator in which players build impregnable secret bases similar to Fallout Shelter while infiltrating enemy bases in run-and-gun missions based at least on the first film’s storyline . The Android version remained in Early Access for many months.[110] The Golden Circle is free to play, features in-app purchases, and supports online player-versus-player multiplayer, while The Secret Service is sold as a paid game.

A few months later, following the launch of the mobile game for Kingsman: The Golden Circle, on April 24, 2018, it was announced that the game’s servers would be shut down on May 23, 2018 after “careful consideration” given the game’s poor player base.
