Tara Deeker died in early September after suffering from cancer.
Rich Eisen recalled Tara on an episode of The Rich Eisen Show, saying, “She had a maternal sense of her, she had a friendly sense of her. She had nothing but love in her veins pounding in her chest. Beautiful person on this planet, lovely person whose inner light will shine down on us all in heaven forever now.”
Rich said he saw her at the Super Bowl when she said she was “getting better.” He added that he and other colleagues prayed for their scans to come out clean, but unfortunately their last one didn’t.
“Let’s all say a prayer and keep her in our families and in our hearts today,” Rich said.

Tara Deeker was production coordinator at NFL Network.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she graduated with a BA in Communications from Drury University and landed a job as a marketing assistant at Paramount Pictures. She was later promoted to marketing coordinator.
