“I’ve been writing and re-writing this for the past few days and I’ve had to accept that there’s no way a love of this magnitude or what it means to me can be captured in a few paragraphs. That sa, I’ll try because so many of you have supported us like family over the years. So here we go-⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Our relationship has been in the public eye for the last 3 years. The ironic thing about my most public relationship is that behind-the-scenes, it wasn’t the most superficial and grounding experience of my life. While it pains me that our journey has come to an end, I mean it when I say that I am so incredibly grateful to have shared the last 3 years with someone as compassionate, smart and wonderful as Madelaine. I wouldn’t trade the personal growth enabled by our time together for anything.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Red carpets, parties, photo shoots, television, etc. create this alternate reality where we are one-dimensional humans, free from real-world challenges , put your feet up and wait for the next big job. I wish our lives really looked like a google image search for our names.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ In reality, we are ambitious and hardworking indivuals who are struggling with rejection in different states/countries and wondering what the next best thing is exercise is trying to see friends/family, take care of our dogs, answer an ocean of emails, reconcile REAL LIFE and do it all while disconnected from it.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

⁣⁣There are a lot of privileges in being able to do what we do, but there is a mountain of challenges. That means we were there together. It challenged me, kept me honest, made me more compassionate, and helped me grow up something very much needed. The highest highs were made better, the deepest lows made livable by them. I have learned so much about myself and life from this unconditional love and support. I will always have your back.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Trying to capture gratitude, love and pain in a few paragraphs is impossible.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I don’t delete any of our pictures, I have no regrets. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ It’s a sad world when websites, blogs and media try to capitalize on our pain. Please be respectful.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support.”
