Where could Jelka Pesic be now? Did she murder Alexander Pesic? Jelka Pesic was arrested on August 15, 1992 after police uncovered evidence tying them to the death of Alexandra Pesic ten days earlier.

On August 5, 1992, Alexandra transferred her life to a clinic due to discharge wounds after she was shot by David Segoviano in the parking lot outside the dental office where she worked.

Bernice Courson was with her after they strolled to Alexandra’s car when a red car pulled up behind them and shot the 25-year-old former glamor woman.

4 had to do with the death of the teenage fellow dentist, with Jelka being the genius. David Segoviano was the shooter, Delorme was the driving force, and Milan Nenadic played a part by offering the murder weapon just because of the car.

It was really a long time ago that Jelka went into the preliminary round. Eventually, in 1993, she was charged with first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Although a person convicted of first-degree murder can apply for parole after serving 25 years in prison, Jelka addressed the “weak expectation” that allowed her to seek early consent after being arrested for 15 years in 2008, she claimed , she is ill.

After some deliberation, the jury denied her parole as it would not acknowledge legal responsibility for her actions. She was re-eligible for parole in 2018, but the results of that investigation are not recognised.

She is bonded to her higher half, Sam Pesic. He was captured along with his higher half, his boy and three completely different men who helped kill his grandson Brandon’s mother.

Alexandra Pesic was tied to Jelka’s youngster Joe Pesic. After Jelka looked after Brandon Tee to help him fall asleep from which they were practically unable to wake him, Alexandra broke up with Joe.

Certainly, even after 29 years, Jelka has not revealed any insight into the train of thought behind her actions. Although Joe was not accused of misconduct as he had a justification, the vast majority were content that Sam and Joe had more to do with the misconduct than the experts could disclose.

Zdenka sued Jelka and the rest of the family in 1998 for abusive distribution. After some time on the case, the case closed in 2003 for $350,000. Brandon earned $183.00 when he turned nineteen in 2008.

Jelka Pesic Organized Murder Of Former Daughter-In-Law, Alexandra Pesic

Alexandra Pesic was disturbed when she received in the mail a copy of a true crime book with terrifying passages highlighted. She was even more startled when a passage came to life.

Joe Pesic “was torn in half” by his wife and mother

Alexandra Pesic was relieved when her turbulent custody battle with her ex-husband ended.

Alexandra, the child of working-class Yugoslav immigrants living in suburban Vancouver, Canada, was a former beauty queen who competed for the Miss Canada title in 1985. Her looks brought her quite a bit of male attention.

“The boys flocked to her. She was tall, she was beautiful, she could charm herself into anything,” her friend Angie Casoria told Killer Relationship With Faith Jenkins, which airs Sundays at 7/6c on Oxygen, with her friend and colleague Bernice Courson adding : “Alex was blonde, beautiful and striking. She had a wicked sense of humor.”

Alexandra, a 20-year-old dental assistant, loved spending time with her mother. One of her hobbies was going to local open houses – and at one, a woman overheard them speaking Yugoslavian. She was from there too and introduced herself. Her name was Jelka Pesic.

When Alexandra had her car serviced, she took it to Jelka Pesic’s auto repair shop. There she met Jelka’s 27-year-old son, Joe Pesic, who also worked there. Sparks immediately flew between the two and they began a relationship.

“He always showed up with flowers and took them to the nicest restaurants. Joe had a motorcycle, so they rode a lot,” Casoria told producers.

After just a month of dating, Joe proposed.

“It was a dream come true for [Alexandra’s] mother and Jelka,” Casoria explained

But the wedding planning created some tension between Jelka and Alexandra. Jelka had strong opinions and, according to Casoria, clashed with Alexandra. The tension was so stressful that Alexandra began to have doubts about marrying Joe.

But on June 11, 1988 the wedding took place. And even after the couple officially wed, Jelka continued to be a dominant presence in her life.

“Jelka wanted to be in control of her decisions — everything Alex did, everything she wore … Alex felt like they should make their own decisions as a couple,” Courson explained.

But then Jelka made them an offer they couldn’t refuse: she and her husband, Joe’s father, offered to give them a sizable down payment to help them pay for a house close to their own. The couple accepted, but arguments ensued, including fights over a backsplash in the kitchen, according to Alexandra’s friends.

Good news finally came in late 1989 when Alexandra and Joe announced they were having a baby. Unfortunately, the arrival of baby Brandon led to the biggest fight yet between Jelka and Alexandra. The couple headed out on a date night, with Jelka watching the baby. She told Alex she made a special tea for the six-month-old to help him fall asleep, but Alexandra demanded that she not give it to the child.

When they got home, the baby was sleeping so soundly that Alexandra could not wake him and could hardly feel a pulse. Jelka admitted to having given him the tea.

Baby Brandon recovered, but Alexandra was furious that Jelka had ignored her wishes. She took the child to her mother and gave Joe an ultimatum.

“She was very disappointed that Joe didn’t put her in front of his parents…she couldn’t go on living like this and didn’t want to raise a child in this stressful environment,” Courson explained.

Two years after the marriage, Alexandra filed for divorce, and things got ugly. There was a heated custody battle over Brandon, and the two fought over ownership of the home and finances. Ultimately, Alexandra received full custody, child support, and ownership of the home. The divorce was finalized in November 1991.

On August 5, 1992, Alexandra and her colleague Courson drove to Alexandra’s car in her work parking lot.

“She got into her side and I went to the other. I put my gym bag between my feet when I heard the first bullet… I knew she had been shot and I knew it wasn’t good… Her shoulder and head hit my back and as soon as I felt the bullets stop I heard the wheels of a car pull away. I looked at her real quick and jumped out of the car and ran to the office to get the doctor we worked for. It was a nightmare,” Courson recalled.

Alexandra was taken to the hospital, where she died from her gunshot wounds. She was 25 years old.

There were many witnesses to the crime. More than 30 people in the area told investigators they saw a conspicuous red car in the neighborhood with two young dark-haired men inside. A witness had even seen the red car pull up next to Alexandra’s car, shoot her, and drive away. The witness gave the police a license plate number.

When authorities checked the number plate, they learned it was a recently stolen car.

Investigators questioned Joe, who had an alibi saying he was at a swimming pool with his son miles away. He even had a receipt for entering the pool.

Friends told investigators another troubling detail: Before Alexandra was killed, she had received in the mail a paperback about a woman, Cindy James, who had been “terrorized” before her death, according to Neal Hall, a reporter and author of the one in question Book “The Deaths Of Cindy James”. Passages have been highlighted including one about James’ lawn being set on fire.

A few days later, Alexandra and Casoria were in Alexandra’s apartment when they heard a cracking noise in the front yard. It was on fire. Alexandra also noticed that a car had followed her.

“Everything that happened to this woman, which is underlined in the book, happened to her systematically,” Casoria said.

Alexandra claimed she knew what would happen next: the person stalking her would arrange for her to be shot. So she hired a private investigator to find out who was tormenting her.

This private detective contacted the police after her death and provided useful information. On the day of the murder, his team was monitoring Joe, who was actually at the swimming pool. He also had an eye on Joe’s parents, who were in the auto shop at the time of the murder. They all had alibis.

The investigator also gave them the license plate number of a white car that had been chasing Alexandra.

The stolen red car eventually turned up – it was found by a McDonald’s. Investigators were able to secure a fingerprint and a hair. They also had a witness who said they saw two men get out of the red car, jump into a white car and leave.

They found that the white car’s number plate belonged to Milan Nenadic. His fingerprints were on file from a previous conviction, but they didn’t match those in the red car. They belonged to a petty criminal named Lawrence Delorme.

The two men were immediately placed under 24-hour surveillance. On August 10, Nenadic went to the Pesic house and got in the car with Jelka. He got in the car so as not to be seen driving with her. They drove to the mall where they entered separately before briefly returning to the car. Nenadic lay down again to hide.

Authorities called him to stop and arrest him as he tried to drive away. When he was taken into custody, money fell out of his pants: $30,000.

A friend of the Pesic family soon called with more damning information: she said she had seen Jelka set fire to Alexandra’s garden weeks earlier. She also confirmed that Jelka had a copy of The Death Of Cindy James. She also revealed that Nenadic was another family friend who had come to their house earlier. As he was leaving, Jelka said: “It’ll be fine then, it’ll be over soon.

It was enough to arrest Jelka for murder. A search of her home revealed the murder weapon. Police also found a note from Delorme’s apartment with Nenadic’s name, phone number and address, which successfully linked the two men. It seemed like Delorme was the driver, Nenadic provided the gun and the car, and Jelka was the mastermind. But who was the shooter?

Police then found a piece of paper with an incomplete address and the name of David Segoviano. When they went to the address, they spoke to Segoviano’s roommate, who revealed that Segoviano had recently cut his hair and provided them with snippets of it. It matched the hair found in the getaway car. His address book provided a link between him and the other two men.

A friend agreed to carry a bug and was able to get Segoviano to confess his role in the murder and implicate others on tape. It was just the evidence the police needed.

In 1993 all four were tried and convicted. They all received the maximum sentence for first-degree murder in Canada: 25 years.

Joe Pesic has never been charged with a crime. According to a 2008 Vancouver Sun report, his son Brandon moved in with Alexandra’s mother.
