Fox News recently caught two protesters on camera showing up outside the house in the middle of the night, banging on the door and shouting “come on dirty laundries”.

Petito was reported missing by her family in New York on September 11, 10 days after Brian Laundrie returned to Florida alone in the converted van he and Petito had driven across the country in. Laundrie’s family then reported him missing on September 17 and authorities are still searching for the man, who is wanted under a federal warrant for bank card fraud.

Petito’s body was found days later at a campground near Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Forest. A Wyoming coroner determined that she had been strangled and ruled her death a homicide.

Gabby Petito Update Woman Sues Brian Laundrie’s Father Amid Rising Conspiracy Theories

KEY POINTS The woman claimed Brian’s father removed a lawn sign she put up outside his home

The sign read, “What if it was Cassie?” in reference to Christopher’s daughter

Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino said they were ‘harassed with lawsuits’

As multiple conspiracy theories surfaced that Brian Laundrie’s family knew the 23-year-old’s whereabouts, a Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against his father, Christopher Laundrie.

The woman, identified as Andra Griffin of Bradenton, filed the lawsuit in Sarasota County Court Monday. In the lawsuit, she alleged that Brian’s father removed a Gabby Petito lawn sign that she put up outside the North Port laundry home. While speaking to the insider, Griffin claimed she filed the case to irritate the family enough to “break their silence” on the case.

The sign read, “What if it was Cassie?” Regarding Christopher’s daughter, WFLX reported.

“On or about the morning of October 16, 2021, defendant Christopher Laundrie came out of his home, walked up to the sign, stole it and returned to his property,” the lawsuit reads.

The Laundrie family’s attorney, Steven Bertolino, told Insider on Tuesday that the family was “being plagued with lawsuits over a $40 sign that was most likely on their property and should be considered trash.”

The lawsuit comes as several protesters have gathered outside the Laundrie family home demanding justice for Petito. The body of the 22-year-old YouTuber was found in a Wyoming national park on September 19, at least three weeks after the medical examiner ruled her dead. The coroner ruled on October 12 that the cause of death was strangulation.

An arrest warrant had been issued for Brian for illegally using Petito’s credit card to make a purchase or withdraw $1,000 between August 30 and September 1. Authorities say Brian arrived alone at his parents’ home on September 1, but no one in his family reported Petito missing. However, it has been more than five weeks since Brian went missing.

Brian is the only person named as a person of interest in the case. Despite a search conducted by the FBI, there was no concrete evidence of his whereabouts.

There have been several conspiracy theories circulating regarding Brian’s whereabouts. Earlier this week, actress Kirstie Alley tweeted that he may be hiding in “crawlspace” at his Florida home. Petito’s mother also claimed in an interview that she believes Brian’s parents are withholding important information about their daughter’s death and son’s disappearance.
