J. Allen Brack’s Net Worth in 2021

J. Allen Brack is the former President of Blizzard and was Executive Producer and Vice President for World of Warcraft. He was removed from his position at Activision Blizzard in August this year following the workplace harassment and discrimination controversies. We haven’t really heard much about him since he left. His name has been mentioned a few times, especially now that focus has turned to Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick. When he left, he was seen by critics as a scapegoat for other Activision Blizzard executives — someone who had to endure the heat to get people off the company’s back. Today we examine J. Allen Brack’s net worth in 2021 and see how his position at various companies, but primarily at Blizzard, has helped him amass the wealth he has today.

J. Allen Brack Birthday, Age, Education

J. Allen Brack has kept his life private for the most part. He doesn’t have a Wikipedia page and isn’t very active on social media. Heck, we don’t even know what the “J” in his name stands for. We know he lives in California and is best known for his time at Blizzard, primarily as Executive Vice President for World of Warcraft.

J. Allen Brack career timeline

J. Allen Brack had a career in gaming prior to joining Blizzard. According to Brack’s Linkedin profile, he started at EA in 1994 as an Associate Producer. After six years, he left EA to join Sony Online Entertainment as a producer, where one of his main projects was the game Star Wars Galaxies.

He then joined Blizzard in January 2006 as a Senior Producer and slowly climbed the ranks until he became an Executive in 2013, where he earned the title he is best known for in the Blizzard community: Production Director and Vice President for World of Warcraft. He became Executive Producer in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2015. Then, in October 2018, Mike Morhaime resigned his position as president and named J. Allen Brack as the next president of Blizzard Entertainment.

However, J. Allen Brack’s tenure as President of Blizzard would be short-lived. On August 3, 2021, as allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination at Blizzard came to light and public pressure on Activision Blizzard to do something about it, the company fired J. Allen Brack. He was then replaced by co-leaders Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra. Jen would also leave later in the year, citing the pay gap between him and his alleged co-leader Ybarra.

Since leaving Blizzard, Brack hasn’t made public what he’s doing. But he may not have to work anymore. J. Allen Brack was rumored to have been treated as a “sacrificial lamb” by Activision Blizzard executives and has been offered a sizeable settlement in exchange for his retirement and 15 years with the company. However, none of these rumors have ever been confirmed.

J. Allen Brack net worth in 2021: over $1 million (estimate)

An exact figure on J. Allen Brack’s net worth is not available. There are articles on the internet that estimate his annual salary as President of Blizzard to be around $300.00-$400.00, but none of these articles have provided sufficient evidence to support their claims. However, considering the position he held, it’s safe to assume that J. Allen Brack’s net worth would be at least well over a million dollars.

Jeffery Allen Williams (born September 27, 1960) is an American animator, writer, producer, actor, musician and director. Career [edit]

Darkstar: The Interactive Movie [ edit ]

Williams is best known for writing, animating and directing the independent computer game Darkstar: The Interactive Movie. In an interview with Tom Chick on Fidget.com, Williams described his role in the production:

…right in 2000 I decided to do something and started producing. And it just got bigger and bigger and bigger to the point that it kind of just happened on its own. It kind of got out of hand. I just wrote the thing and because I’m just a guy who does most of it — I mean, I got probably a hundred people involved to help me do sound and camera and all the other stuff, but I bring them in as a contract guy with things. But I kind of deal with every single thing, so that’s the bottleneck. One guy is obsessive and needs to be in control of the whole thing.[3]

Darkstar featured numerous live actors including Clive Robertson and the original cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000.[4] The project also featured original animation by artist Richard Corben and was one of the final projects with actor Peter Graves narrating the game.[5] Williams also designed various costumes and props for the live-action sequences and is one of the three credited composers on the soundtrack, along with Jimmy Pitts and Bill Bruce.

All [edit]

In 2013, Williams and Parallax Studio began production on the independent film Everything, written and directed by Williams. The film was completed in 2017.[7][8][9]

MEAD [ edit ]

In 2020, Williams and Parallax Studio announced production of the independent film MEAD (originally titled To Meet the Faces You Meet) based on the underground comic Fever Dreams written by Jan Strnad and illustrated by Richard Corben , with the voice of Patton Oswalt. 10][11] On July 20, 2020, it was announced that actors Patrick Warburton and Samuel Hunt had joined the cast. In September 2020, it was announced that Robert Picardo had also joined the cast.[14] Filming began in late September and ended in early October 2021.[15] MEAD premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on May 22, 2022 and will be released for streaming in North America on August 9, 2022.[16]

Blizzard Entertainment president steps down after workplace protests.

Activision Blizzard, the video game maker, said Tuesday that the president of its Blizzard Entertainment studio is stepping down, as well as its human resources chief, as the company grapples with the fallout from allegations of workplace harassment and discrimination.

Activision, known for Call of Duty and other popular gaming franchises, has been under pressure since the state of California sued it on July 20. The lawsuit accused the company of promoting a “workplace brotherhood culture,” in which men joke about rape and women are routinely bullied and paid less than their male counterparts.

Many of the wrongdoing allegations in the lawsuit centered on the Blizzard division, which Activision merged with in a 2008 deal with Vivendi Games.
