Rowe may not babysit or be unsupervised with children under the age of 16 for the duration of the Case. The second was that no contact should be made with the victim, the 2-year-old in the video, or the victim’s family.
The child’s parents, Max and Laura Oglesby, also attended Rowe’s debut performance on Monday.

The Oglesby’s posted the viral video on Facebook on October 27, which has been shared more than 6,600 times and shows the alleged abuse to warn others about the incident so it doesn’t happen to them.
Max Oglesby explained the content of the footage, which shows Rowe pulling his son’s arms back and forcing him to eat a pot pie.
The video eventually led to Rowe’s arrest on October 27, and she posted her $2,500 bail that same day.
Rowe’s attorney, Lee Bettis, also urged Cherry to remove the nanny cam video, which has thousands of views, from social media.
“It’s causing all sorts of death threats to my client,” Bettis said in court. “She gets death threats from everywhere.”
He requested the video be removed for violating his client’s rights and North Carolina law.
Cherry said, without providing the state’s notice, that there cannot be a hearing based on this motion until proper notice is given. The judge advised Rowe not to respond to any of the comments on social media.
“I would advise someone that maybe it’s not the wisest thing to have that out there and have a process in the media,” Cherry said.
Rowe’s next court date is scheduled for January 11.

NEW BERN, NC (WITN) — A nanny has been charged with child molestation after the toddler’s parents spotted on their nanny camera that the woman appeared to be force-feeding the two-year-old.
Lauren Rowe was arrested by New Bern Police Department late Wednesday night on child molestation charges.
Max and Laura Oglesby told WITN they were at work in Washington Tuesday night and turned on their nanny camera during a break to check on their son Declan.

In the video, you can see Rowe putting food in the child’s mouth and holding it while he screamed and tried to get out of the high chair. Rowe is seen once holding the child’s right arm.

A North Carolina woman was arrested last week after she was allegedly caught on camera molesting a 2-year-old child she was babysitting.
Lauren Ashley Rowe of New Bern, N.C. faces child molestation charges. She was arrested without incident last Wednesday and police announced the charges on Friday.
According to Sun Journal, on Tuesday, October 26, the child’s parents viewed footage from their nanny camera and shared the video with authorities. The clip was also shared by the parents on Facebook and has been viewed more than a hundred thousand times at the time of this writing.
“You don’t expect it to happen to you,” Max Oglesby, the 2-year-old’s father, told the outlet. “She was recommended to my wife on a Facebook group for New Bern moms. She has a check on freakingcare.com. I have the feeling that we have taken the right steps.”
Oglesby says the clip shows Rowe putting food in the toddler’s mouth and covering his mouth while he screams and tries to get out of his high chair. Later, the nanny can allegedly be seen holding the boy’s arms by trying to tie them together while she makes another attempt to get him to eat a pot pie. As a result of those efforts, Oglesby said his son suffered a bruise on one of his arms.
“We published it because if people didn’t know, they would still hire them,” the father added. “We got this on video where she admits to telling everyone she spoke to, ‘If we didn’t control our 2-year-old, he would walk all over us.'”
The father’s Facebook post reads in part:
Laura and I had to make a difficult decision last month to bring in a nanny to look after our children a few days a week while we worked the bar in Washington. Last night we turned on our cameras at our house on a break and ran out of the bar to get home. This was seen live by us and just a LITTLE clip of the 2 HOURS she spent doing this to our son. We are heartbroken for our son and angry that this has happened. We are taking appropriate action on this matter and will not allow this to happen to our baby or anyone else’s babies.
Because the parents were so far away when they checked in the live recording, they called Max Oglesby’s mother to relieve Rowe of her duties on the day in question.
The Sun Journal also reports that Rowe was made aware that she was being watched on occasion before starting her job.
“She knew we’d stop by from time to time,” Oglesby added.
New Bern police are reportedly combing through several weeks of surveillance footage to see if there were any other incidents of alleged abuse prior to last week.
According to local NBC affiliate WNCT, Rowe was arrested on the misdemeanor warrant and was quickly released on $2,500 secured bail. Her next court date is currently scheduled for November 8th.
