HomaBay County is located in the southern part of the Nyanza Region, on the southern shore of Lake Victoria. Homa Bay County covers an area of ​​3,183.3 km² with a population of approximately 1.3 million people.

Welcome to Kisii County Website

Kisii County is one of Kenya’s 47 counties. It is bordered by Nyamira counties to the northeast, Narok counties to the south, and Homabay and Migori counties to the west.

The county lies between 00 30′ and 100 south and longitude 340 38′ and 350 east.

It covers an area of ​​1,302 km2 and has 1,152,282 inhabitants according to the 2009 census.

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Homa Bay Campus was established in 1979 to train Enrolled Community Health Nurses (ECN). In 1998, ECN was promoted to a Diploma in Community Health Nursing on campus.
