Kevin Daniels (Kevin Dwight Daniels Jr.) is an American actor who was born on December 9, 1976 in San Diego, California, United States. He is known for his role as Don Miller, a firefighter/paramedic for the Baltimore City Fire Department in the film Ladder 49 and also for his role as Hank St. Clare in Sirens. In 2019, he will guest star in the second season of The Orville as Locar, Bortus’ former boyfriend.
Kevin was interested in acting from a young age as his grandmother would bring him books after he visited places and would read him stories and poetry. In high school, he was in a program where he competed against other ks in monologues and scene studies. He took part in poetry readings and achieved second place at the state level.
He later joined a group, Junior Players, who taught him drama and talked about voice and language [,] body and movement. Eventually, he landed a role at the Dallas Shakespeare Festival, where he played Cornwall in King Lear. He later attended drama school in New York, where he studied acting.

Kevin Dwight Daniels Jr. (born December 9, 1976 in San Diego, California) is an American actor who began his career in the 1998 film Twelfth Night, or What You Will, directed by Nicholas Hytner. He has appeared in the film Hollywood Homicide, as well as in the television series Law & Order, Frasier, Chuck, House and Modern Family, the latter in the recurring role of Longines. Since then he has worked on more than 20 productions. He is best known for playing Don Miller, a firefighter with the Baltimore City Fire Department, in the film Ladder 49 and the US show Sirens, where he played Hank St. Clare, a Chicago paramedic.
He played the lead role of Magic Johnson in the 2012 Broadway play Magic/Bird.
Daniels attended the Juilliard School as a member of Drama Division Group 27 (1994–1998).
